The Williams' Trip to England And Wales
Our family
took a trip to England and Wales between
October 18 and October 24, 2009. We went to celebrate Courtney's' 21st birthday
which is in November 2009. We went to London and viewed the sights there such as
The Tower of London, Harrods, Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace. We took a
river cruise down the Thames and ate and drank at some very English Pubs. On Oct.
23, 2009 we drove to Bath and took a tour through the old Roman bath house and
then drove into Wales. The visit to Wales was to see the county and visit some
castles. This is the ancestral home of Rea's side of the family. We visited several castles and enjoyed the county side and the
fantastic food. If you are ever in Brecon please visit the
Tai'r Bull Inn for
the best food you have ever had. Well we went back to the UK in 2010. Our trip took us from
London, Heathrow to Liverpool where we stayed one night. From there we went to
Llanduno, Wales and spent four nights there. We then went to Dolgellau, Wales
and spent two nights and toured the area. Our trip then took us to Carmarthen,
Wales where we also spent two nights and visited with old friends we meet last
year. From there we went back to London and spent one more night before we left
and came back to the states. All in all a wonderful trip, saw many beautiful
places and meet a lot of great folks. Check out those pictures, had
